Just Tired😪

For most of my life,

I've been proud of the fact that I'm an emotional person,

That I feel too much, too quickly,

I fall in love in a fraction of seconds but fall out of it in years.

I do too much for others and too little for myself.

I've felt quite good about the fact that I've been blessed with all I've got.

But today the lover in me is tired.

I've nothing but contempt for love.

That's right, The world wins at last.

I gave up on love.
